Physical Appearance:
There is no known confirmation of detailed appearance, or at least one that can be linked back to him. He has a sturdy and firm build, stands roughly 6'5" but is not overly bulky despite his height. He has long appendages, his fingers similar to those of a pianist which he uses to thoroughly feel out everything he touches. Any other features such as hair, eyes, or face are always shrouded in either shadows from his surroundings, or his hood. According to the small forum dedicated to him, some more open minded members have claimed that in addition to his human like body, he also has some 'non-human' like appendages as well...

Personality:
He is a bit of a hard one to describe as he rarely talks. One would think some sort of a manhunt would be active, however the small forum dedicated to talking about him has nothing bad to say. Always a bit frightening at first having someone or something reaching from the shadows, however all accounts can clearly say whatever he is -- he doesn't actively hurt anyone.
There are always requirements that needs to be met for him to "appear".
1.) The other person has to either want him there, or are open to his presence, even if they don't know about him.
2.) Must always be dark. Doesn't matter if its an alleyway, bedroom, bathroom, or anywhere else -- wherever there is lack of light, it is an invitation.
Typical for him, it's unknown why these specific situations need to be met, however they seem to be the only common factor between the small amount of forum members. Each have had various types of relationships with him, some ranging from platonic friendship, others protection during the night, and some rare few having a more "intimate" encounter with him. In every case, it has all depended on how open minded the other person had been to what he had to give.

FORUM PROMPT
Typical night spent scrolling through Forums, just about ready to switch to social media when on the 100th and some page, you stumble across a forum titled "Finding: Him". With nothing better to do, you read through the posts describing their experiences with this mysterious figure, and unlike the other typical conspiracy theories...you might actually believe them. Up to testing it out? If so, how?
STARTER #1: SLEEP "DEMON"
It wasn't often that other beings caught his attention, especially like this. He wasn't sure if this one was even aware of him at first, as he simply watched and waited. Eventually, the other beings perception changed, as it always does. Going from some sort of either disbelief in him or that someone/something else was in the room, to genuinely believing they weren't alone. It didn't matter to him one way or another, the call was just as sweet. Which brought him to where he was currently, mere feet from the slowly awakening figure. He had no doing in how they woke up, perhaps it was an unknown byproduct of his presence which caused some sort of sleep paralysis. Would this one have "demons" appear as well, waiting in the shadows like he was? Although they were malicious, they were quite easy to scare off as they never expected him to be there. They were much more comfortable feeding and frightening off of the helpless, and he was far from that. One look typically sent them scattering, though the effects of paralysis still took its time loosening its hold. He supposed that left him more time to watch and observe, and see what exactly the other being wanted from him.
